Request Account & Data Deletion
You can request that your Peppermint's Cleaning Company account and associated personal data be deleted at any time. Follow the steps below — there are two ways to make your request.
Fastest way
Delete your account in the app
Sign in to the Client Portal and delete your account yourself — it takes about a minute and is processed immediately.
Steps to request deletion
Open the Client Portal
Tap “Delete my account” below or visit the Client Portal and sign in with your email and password (or Continue with Google).
Go to your Profile
From the portal dashboard, open Profile (or Account) in the menu.
Tap “Delete account”
Scroll to the bottom of your profile and choose Delete account. Confirm the prompt — your login account is removed immediately.
Don’t have a portal account?
Email us at hello@peppermints.co with the subject “Delete my account” and the email address you used with Peppermint's. We’ll process your request and confirm once it’s complete.
What gets deleted
- Your login email and password (authentication account)
- Your Client Portal access and the ability to sign in
- Profile details you added to your portal account
- Saved portal service locations and vehicles you manage yourself
- Active portal session and login tokens
What we keep & for how long
Some records are kept after your account is deleted to meet legal, tax, and operational obligations. These records are no longer linked to a login account.
Service & job history
Invoices, quotes, jobs, and visit records are kept for business, accounting, and legal records.

Payment records
Payment metadata (status, amount, date) is retained for tax and financial compliance. Full card numbers are never stored by Peppermint's — they stay with Stripe.

Communication logs
Records of service-related emails, text messages, and messages you sent us are kept to resolve disputes and prevent fraud.

Client contact record
Your name and contact details may be retained as a business record so we can respond to legal requests and verify past service.

Gift certificate & reward history
Outstanding gift certificate balances and reward ledger entries are retained for financial accuracy until redeemed or expired.
Until redeemed/expired
Deleting your account removes your ability to sign in to the Peppermint's Client Portal. Retained business records (invoices, payments, and service history) are kept securely and are no longer associated with an active login. We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
